Alpha at Holy Trinity SE20 Wednesdays after Easter. Starting 1st May

Email for more details

Our next ALPHA will start on 1st May at 7:30 pm.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone's welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.

Alpha is free as we feel it is part of our extension of hospitality as a church to welcome guests who would like to come.

At Holy Trinity we try to run Alpha once or twice a year, with anywhere between about 8 and 28 guests attending.  People of all ages come to Alpha  and from all kinds of backgrounds - some would call themselves Christians or other faiths, some would call themselves atheists and many just don't know.

Most people do the whole course which will last 10 weeks, although some stop after a few weeks for various reasons. Many people miss one or two evenings due to other commitments, which is not a problem. In the middle of the course there is the opportunity to go for an Alpha day together. At the end of the course we have an "Alpha party" to celebrate our time together and invite people that might like to hear how it has all gone.
